River to River Festival, Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park, NYC

"Description: With tremendous energy and a percussive sound that is hailed as
decades ahead of its time, Cecil Taylor is recognized as one the leading
innovators in post-bebop jazz. It is frequently said that his style entails playing
the piano as if he were playing the drums.

Price: Free; tickets will be distributed, two per person, outside Castle
Clinton on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5pm on the day of the
show."
