"CT arrived in Istanbul a week earlier than his gig date and practiced almost everyday with a white grand Bosendorfer piano in one of the summer- Ottoman-palaces of Istanbul...photography sessions, lotta talk about everything in an oriental atmosphere, great friendship and he loved this magical environment and said "one of the best performances that he had ever had " was one of the many of his quotations that i remember.. "
